Thierry’s mission is to define and implement GE Healthcare Europe marketing strategy and drive growth initiatives. Thierry Godelle started his career in 1997 as a process engineer in the chemical industry with Rhône-Poulenc. Moving to a strategy consultancy company in 1998, he then spent three years on assignments for various financial institutions. Thierry joined GE Healthcare in 2003, and has held several leadership positions. He was recently General Manager of Magnetic Resonance for Russia, Middle East & Turkey and subsequently led the organizational change of GE Healthcare in that region. Thierry is married with three children. He holds a MSc in general engineering from Ecole Centrale de Paris and an MBA from Insead.

Martin is a Director in McKinsey's London office and is the co-convenor for the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Products Practice globally. His recent client projects include helping a global consumer company to identify and execute its strategy for the emerging middle classes and supporting a 12-month CEO-led process to explore the implications of globalization for a leading healthcare organization. Martin has advised many companies on identifying the organizational implications of expanding their geographic footprint, supported leading corporations in restructuring for cost efficiency and effectiveness, and led McKinsey's support for 10 major post-merger integrations involving fundamental organization redesign, most of them global in nature. Martin leads our Organization Practice in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa and heads a special McKinsey initiative on managing global organizations. He is a frequent speaker and writer on organization and globalization, co-authored the McKinsey publication Perspectives on Global Organizations, and recently led a panel on emerging markets for The Economist. He is also the joint leader of the McKinsey Asia Center, a special initiative to mobilize the best thinking, capabilities and relationships in order to help leading Asian and multinational companies capture the full value of globalization. He is head of the Department of Neurology and Neurorehabilitation at Valens Rehabilitation Centre in Switzerland, as well as Professor of Clinical Neurology and Neurorehabilitation at Bern University Hospital, lecturer in the Department of Health Sciences and Technology at ETH Zürich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology). Jürg Kesselring is former Chairman of the International Medical and Scientific Board of the Multiple Sclerosis International Federation (MSIF); First Honorary President of the Swiss Multiple Sclerosis Society and former Chairman of the World Health Organization Working Group on Multiple Sclerosis. Hi is a former ICRC medical delegate to Lebanon, Pakistan and Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of the Congo).

Prof Dr hc mult Frederik Paulsen is Chairman of the Board of Ferring, a global speciality biopharmaceutical group headquartered in Saint-Prex, Switzerland, and the Honorary Consul for the Russian Federation in Lausanne, Switzerland. Frederik Paulsen studied chemistry at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel, Germany and business administration at Lund University, Sweden. Dr Paulsen has a large number of interests, encompassing science, art and philanthropy. His interest in polar exploration has led him to all 8 of the Earth’s poles. His worldwide philanthropic interests range from the islands of South Georgia, to Russia, Western Europe, the US and to the Kingdom of Bhutan. Frederik Paulsen is 65 years old. He was born in Stockholm, Sweden and remains a Swedish national. He speaks English, Swedish, German and French.

Education: in 1986, graduated with distinction from the Therapeutic Department of Moscow Institute of Medicine and Dentistry. Subsequently did post graduate studies, specialising in Urology in Moscow, Germany, France and the USA. He is the sole Russian urologist certified by the Higher European Urological Commission. He has performed the largest number of urological reconstructive plastic surgery operations in women. He has the most experience of performing surgical treatment of prostate cancer in the Russian Federation, including over one thousand robot-assisted radical prostatectomies. 2011: President of the European Academy of Urology. Since 2010, in conjunction with leading engineers, had been developing a Russia robot-surgery complex. Prof. Pushkar regularly performs demonstration operations and gives topical courses in Europe and the USA. He is the author of over 1000 scientific articles and 50 monographs in Russia and abroad.

Oleg Byakhov joined IBM in 2007 to lead consulting for Communications and Public sector in Russia/CIS. Since 2012 he is Associate Partner of IBM Institute for Business Value, business think tank, which is on the top of global thought leadership rankings for the last three years. In 2003 – 2007 Oleg Byakhov headed Department for Strategy of Information Society in the Russian Ministry for IT and Communications. He launched key modernization initiatives for the Russian IT industry, as well as building the National Strategy for Information Society. Prior to this he took business leadership in the professional, marketing and financial services firms.Mr. Byakhov is member of the Expert Councils under the Government of the Russian Federation and ASI. Since 2014 Oleg Byakhov represents IBM in the Industrial Advisory Council of Skolkovo and chairs the Customer Advisory Board of Rostelecom. In 2015 Oleg Byakhov joined the Board of Trustees of the Southern Federal University (Rostov-on-Don). Kirill is a medical doctor in seventh generation of his family. He graduated from the Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy in 1992. In 1997 he succeeded with honors in a joint MBA program of the Lobachevsky State University and Taylor University.Kirill has over 20 years' experience in senior management roles. His specialization is launching new business for major international and Russian companies.In 1995 he set up a network of regional office distribution centers in the Volga Region for Oriflame Cosmetics company, that became one of the region's biggest tax payers. In 2000 Kirill worked in Germany, in the central office of Varta company. After Varta's merger with the American group Spectrum Brands, for next 8 years he was responsible for business in Russia. In 2008 he relaunched the German and American holding JAFRA International in Russia. In 2009 Mr. Kaem took responsibility as General Manager for the Russian holding Hygiene Kinetics, the biggest manufacturer in the market for domestic paper and cellulose products.From 2011 to 2013 he led the biggest federal chain of clinics, Alfa Health Centre - a new business for Alfa Group. From 2013 onwards he has been a member of the Board of Directors and a co-founder of the international medical centre 'Medcluster', set up by Sberbank in partnership with Strategy Group Partners and Johns Hopkins Medicine International as a potential partner. In 2013 Kirill joined Skolkovo Foundation as Vice-President and Head of Biological and Medical Technology Cluster.

In June 2015, Elena Plyasunova was appointed Vice-President of Medtronic in Russia in charge of strategic management and operational activities of the company in Russia. She oversees the educational programmes of Medtronic Academia for raising the professional skills of Russian physicians. Elena boasts 14-years’ management experience. 2000–2005: financial manager at Intel in charge of budgetary and operational planning in developing countries. 2005–2007: headed the financial monitoring division of Microsoft in Russia. 2007: joined the Russian team of Medtronic as financial-administrative manager. 2009: headed the LLC Medtronic project for selling the company’s equipment from a Russian warehouse, which meant significant expansion of Medtronic’s operations in Russia. 2010: appointed Acting Deputy CEO of LLC Medtronic 2012: appointed the company’s Chief Executive Officer. January 2015: after it was announced that Medtronic had acquired Covidien, she became the head of the merged company in Russia. Ms. Plyasunova graduated from State Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod . In 1999, she took an MBA from Willamette University in the USA. Elena is married with two daughters.

Alexander Rasumov led the drafting and approval of the Concept for State Policy on Resort Development in the Russian Federation. He has been decorated with the Order of Service to Motherland in the Armed Forces 3rd Degree, the Order of Friendship, the Medal for Valiance in Combat, etc. Aleander Rasumovis a laureate of the Profession Life international prize, the Mikhail Lomonosov Prize in the field of Science and Education and the Russian Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development Russia’s Best Doctor: The Mission prize, recipient of a diploma of the N.A. Semashko Russian Academy of Medical Sciences prize for the best paper on the theory and history of healthcare.

Since 1971 V. Khavinson has been engaged in studying the role of peptides in regulation of the mechanisms of ageing, design, preclinical and clinical studies of new peptide geroprotectors. His 35-year long investigations resulted in elaboration of a method for complex application of peptide bioregulators to slow down ageing and increase average life span. 6 peptide pharmaceuticals and 64 food supplements developed by V. Khavinson have been introduced into clinical practice. V. Khavinson is the author of over 800 scientific publications with the major achievements summarized in his books “Peptides and Ageing” (NEL, 2002) and “Gerontological aspects of genome peptide regulation” (Karger AG, 2005). He is the author of 205 Russian and International patents. In 2009 the Institute headed by him was designated an IAGG Collaborating Centre. In 2010 the Institute was given a Special Consultative Status of the UN ECOSOC.
