INTELLECTUAL SOCIAL VOLUNTEERING

17 Jun , 12:00–13:15
Pavilion F, Healthy Life Area

Intellectual and social volunteering is becoming particularly relevant amidst the current challenges Russia faces. An essential social phenomenon, volunteering brings together tens of thousands of people from across the country who are ready to unselfishly lend a helping hand to those who need it. We are seeing a clearer trend towards volunteering as well as the implementation of and participation in social projects. What skills are needed to launch an effective social project? What mechanisms are being used to successfully implement projects? How is the government encouraging volunteering and how does intellectual volunteering help to solve socially significant problems in Russia’s regions?
