Architecture of Sky Development: The Face of the New Economy 2035

14 Jun , 10:00–11:30
The World Economy at a Global Turning Point
Pavilion G, conference hall G2

Today, we are just beginning to truly conquer the skies and embark on the journey of colonization. Why can we make such a claim? There are now thousands of machines, soon to be millions, flying above us and adhering to their own set of rules. Their ability to navigate and communicate with one another is crucial for ensuring safety, primarily for humankind and subsequently for themselves. The unmanned aviation industry is still in its infancy, facing more limitations than incentives for growth. To reverse the negative trend, it is imperative to establish new regulations and governance mechanisms for the unmanned aerial systems industry, which are necessary for technological breakthroughs to take place. What are the principles and approaches for shaping the new industry? Are the management models of civil aviation from the past 100 years applicable to drones? How can we once more reignite the childhood dream of millions of people to conquer the sky?
