Congress Centre, zone D, conference hall D4

Auto tourism is gaining popularity in Russia. Travelling by car for a family of three or four is 30–40% more affordable compared to other means of transport, while also offering the opportunity to visit a larger number of unique tourist sites. In the Russian Federation, this form of tourism has a broad target audience, ensuring a steady demand for tourist services. It has the potential to become a significant driver of economic growth, generating new employment opportunities and providing favourable conditions for small businesses. Integrated area development will also allow for the construction of modern multifunctional roadside service areas and campsites, while also increasing the transport accessibility of the regions. What are the key issues related to the development of road tourism and roadside services?
