Dobroshrift Social Project to be Presented at SPIEF 2024

This year, the stand of Dobroshrift (KindPrint), one of Russia’s largest social projects, will be presented for the first time at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

With the support of the Roscongress Foundation, the stand will become a separate platform for communication between public authorities, business and non-profits on the issues of social responsibility of business and cooperation in providing assistance to people with low mobility, their career guidance and employment, promotion of socially transformative content about people with low mobility (social advertising, films).

SPIEF partners and companies implementing corporate social responsibility programmes to create an accessible environment, inclusion, and assistance to people with low mobility can submit topics for discussion at the Dobroshrift platform during the Forum and become a partner of the project on 2 October 2024, World Day of Support for People with Cerebral Palsy.

The Dobroshrift social campaign was created based on the handwriting worksheets of children with cerebral palsy – wards of the Gift to Angel Charitable Foundation. Every year on the first Wednesday of October, the World Day of Support for People with Cerebral Palsy, major Russian and international brands change their usual font to Dobroshrift in logos, slogans and other communications on websites and social networks, drawing attention to the problems of people with low mobility.

Every year, the total reach of the Dobroshrift campaign exceeds 150 million. Thus, the letters of children’s distorted handwriting brought the topic of inclusion and integration of people with speech and motor impairments due to cerebral palsy first into the information field and then into real projects of government institutions and businesses.

The unique mechanics and unprecedented public support of the project allowed Dobroshrift to consolidate government institutions, industrial companies, commercial brands and become a centre for discussion of complex programmes to increase inclusion, create an accessible environment, and provide technical rehabilitation equipment for people with speech and motor impairments resulting from cerebral palsy.

Registration for media representatives is available one official SPIEF website until 1 May: reg.forumspb.com/en/icruser-preload-captcha.

The 27th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is set to take place on 5–8 June 2024.
