Exhibition programme
The " People's Beauty. Russia - a deep image" national photo project consists of a whole series of photographic works dedicated to Russia’s indigenous peoples, assembled into an ethno calendar and exhibition. The culture of twelve peoples conveyed through the image of female beauty, reflecting national specifics with authentic atmosphere and costumes.

“Forgotten Craft”, Lidia Kostareva, Komi Republic
Exhibition programme
The "Forgotten Craft" exhibition is dedicated to the art of natural dyeing, traditional and modern techniques of working with natural dyes. Garments and accessories are dyed using the eco printing technique.
The project includes fabrics, yarn, clothes, photographs of the dyeing process, as well as books by the author.

“The Magic of Kamchatka” photo exhibition, Maxim Balakhovsky, Kamchatka Territory
Exhibition programme
'The Magic of Kamchatka' photo exhibition is an opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful places on Earth. It features unique images of lost and hardly accessible places on the peninsula.
In a continuous shooting process, photographer Maxim Balakhovsky has created unique material that simply has to be shared – a selection of photographs covering more than 15 years of Snow Valley Mountain Lodge and Helipro company's history.
Here you can visit the peaks of active volcanoes and the Kuril Islands, imagine yourself amid glaciers, smoking geysers and bears walking freely around, while also enjoying the surreal, unbelievable scenery.

Exhibition of art works by the IkkiTaba creative alliance, Norilsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai
Exhibition programme
Olga Parsova is a professional designer, creator and ambassador of the creative alliance "IkkiTaba".
Mikhail Sergeevich Barsov is a professional artist, ceramist, wood and bone carver.
As part of the creative alliance "IkkiTaba" (two deer in one team, Dolgan yaz.) develops and manufactures a line of amulets - "Koiko" (spirit), sets of author's ceramics with traditional ornaments of the indigenous peoples of the Taimyr Peninsula, creates sculptures from natural materials collected on the Putorana plateau and the banks of the Yenisei, paints paintings about the North and Taimyr shamanism.

“Yugra: a collection of unforgettable experiences” book exhibition, State Library, Yugra State Library, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra
Exhibition programme
This is an exhibition of books from the Yugra State Library collection, reflecting all the diverse culture and natural riches of Yugra. It supplements and reveals new facets of the programmes of the Soul of Russia festival participants from the region.

Beads in the Peoples of Siberia culture, Museum of Nature and Man, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra
Exhibition programme
The exhibition is dedicated to the culture, traditions and art of the indigenous peoples of Siberia. It features exhibits representing the richest collection of beads from the Museum of Nature and Man. The enchanting beauty of jewellery is reflected in the ornaments and patterns of Khanty and Mansi national costumes.

“Ancient traditions of the Siberian North” exhibition of sculpture, Galina Wiesel, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra
Exhibition programme
Galina Wiesel is a decorative and applied arts artist, a muralist and painter. She is the author of more than 500 works in the genre of animal art, decorative sculpture and wall panels. A People's Artist of the Russian Federation, she is a member of the Russian Academy of Arts, of the Russian Union of Artists, of the Russian Union of Designers, a teacher in the art department of the “Centre of Arts for gifted children of the North” boarding school (Khanty-Mansiysk).

The gods and spirits of the Ob-Ugric peoples are the main “characters” in the artist's work, embodied in ceramics, decorative and monumental sculpture.

Exhibition programme
Gennady Raishev is an Honoured Artist of Russia. He is a recognised leader of the national visual arts of indigenous peoples of Siberia, a “white shaman” possessing spiritual power and a visionary gift. In his work, he drew on the traditions of the folk art of the Ob-Ugrics, wonderfully conveying in his characteristic manner man’s uniqueness and depth, inextricably linked to the spirit of his ancestors and the environment.
Several reproductions of his works will be displayed.

Exhibition programme
The exhibition “Yamal Attraction”. Russia is more than you would think. Russia is brighter than you would think.
Next to the centres of industrial gas and oil extraction, right in the energy heart of Russia, live the fascinating northern people, the Nenets, just as they did centuries ago, maintaining their way of life and traditions. They heat their dwellings made of reindeer skins by fire and graze their herds of thousands of reindeer on the endless tundra. Here, the Nenets live without rush of modern cities.
They live in a real, honest world, where man does not conquer nature and does not cover everything with asphalt.
