Focus on Health: The Corporate and Social Initiatives of Russian Companies
Health is an invaluable resource for individuals, society, and countries as a whole. The well-being of employees directly affects their productivity, and the opportunity to remain healthy with their employer’s support increases loyalty. Investing in innovative approaches to prevent diseases is a crucial task, as well as an opportunity and huge market for the products and services of Russian companies. The current trend is that most companies not only care about their employees, but also about their families. Modern socially responsible businesses and non-profits are responsible for raising awareness about shared responsibility for solving such challenges as preserving a good quality of life of the working-age population, as well as the population’s constant involvement in projects to cultivate awareness. What new solutions will improve health in Russia? How can we improve employees’ health and the quality of their life? How are corporate voluntary health insurance programmes becoming an important factor in attracting the best talent? How do corporate sports affect companies? What social initiatives have proven to be the most in-demand? Why is concern for preserving the working population’s quality of life the shared task of businesses, partner non-profits, and employees themselves?
