In the present era, society is confronted with unprecedented challenges that underscore the crucial imperative of safeguarding our nation's technological and human resources sovereignty. Heightened emphasis is being placed on advancing the technological sphere at all levels, with state measures implemented to support businesses and young professionals. New tasks and challenges arise in equipping personnel with the necessary skills and knowledge in the realms of technology and digitalization, thereby mobilizing key sectors of the economy. The involvement and immersion of talented young minds in technology, as witnessed through national Olympiads and competitions, exemplify the vast potential that emerges from nurturing such engagement from an early school age. One of the primary challenges in 2023 for Russia's human and technological sovereignty lies in the battle for talent. It is imperative that today's schoolchildren perceive the promising and in-demand nature of technological fields within Russia, while also recognizing that the nation's leading universities, technology businesses, companies, and state corporations eagerly await their contributions. How crucial is it to currently foster and support this ambition, offering every opportunity to transform this deep interest into a lifelong pursuit and a drive to create innovative and sought-after solutions? In what ways do social programs aimed at empowering young individuals in Russia contribute to securing a competitive edge in attracting talent in 2023? How can we guarantee the nation's staffing sovereignty by effectively identifying and collaborating with talented individuals, enabling them to choose the most favourable conditions for their personal growth, flourishing careers within domestic production facilities, and leading Russian enterprises?

1994: Graduated from Moscow State Automobile and Road Technical University – MADI with an Engineer’s Degree in Automobile Maintenance and Repairs.
2003: Obtained an MBA Degree at Kingston University (UK).
2013: Received an Honorary Doctorate from Kingston University (UK).
1993 – 2011: Headed his own business started from scratch. Latest project: The Tver Paint Factory, producing modern high-quality automobile and industrial paints. Founded in 2010.
2008 – 2011: Took up venture financing, founded InCube – a business incubator of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration which was recognized the best business incubator in 2010 according to Forbes.
2010: Winner of the Russian stage of Ernst & Young’s «Entrepreneur of the Year» international contest under the heading «Industrial Production».
February, 2011 – March, 2015: Headed different positions in Moscow City Government, such as Moscow Government Minister, Head of Moscow Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship Department, Adviser to Moscow Mayor
March, 2015: Was elected as Director of Industrial Development Fund.
April, 2017: Was appointed as Vice-rector of Presidential Academy, Director of Graduate School of Public Administration.

Actively engaged in sports: motorcycle racer, ultra-marathoner, IronMan finisher.
He run the Antarctic Ice marathon in the end of the 2021th and was in the top ten of participants among men.

Full Professor in Computer Science, Head of the Theoretical and Applied Computer Science Chair at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Chief Scientist at Parallels company. Starting from 2014 he is a Chair of the IEEE Computer Society Russian Branch. Alexander is an author of more than 150 US patents.

Vladimir Shevchenko

Vladimir Shevchenko was born in 1973. He graduated from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute with honors in 1996. Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences
July 3, 2021, he was appointed as Acting Rector of MEPhI. December 30, 2021, Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia approved him as the rector of the MEPhI.
In 1994-2010, he worked at the State Scientific Center of the Russian Federation "Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Physics", where he worked his way up from a graduate student to acting director of the institute. In 2001-2003, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Utrecht (Netherlands).
In different periods, he worked under medium-term contracts at the Heidelberg University (Germany), the University of Pisa (Italy), the VU University Amsterdam (the Netherlands), the Annecy-le-Vieux Particle Physics Laboratory (France). Since 2008, he is a member of the LHCb collaboration at the Large Hadron Collider at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN, Geneva).
In 2010-2021, he held various positions relating to the leadership of fundamental research at the National Research Center "Kurchatov Institute". In 2014-2019, he was the head of the Scientific Coordination Committee at the National Research Center "Kurchatov Institute" for cooperation between the Russian Federation and CERN.
In different periods, he conducted research and teaching activities at MIPT, MEPhI, MISiS, FEFU.
