Today, the world is undergoing a complex structural geopolitical shift. Russia, a country with a large economy, is facing unprecedented sanctions and information pressure, which are adversely affecting its economy, technology and social sphere. These economic sanctions are driving significant changes in the Russian business environment, resulting in the reconfiguration of business models and the redistribution of capital within the country. The departure of global brands from the market is causing shifts in the population's consumption patterns, while simultaneously altering the landscape of information policy. The population's uncertainty about its future is increasing. In the current environment, the civic, political and institutional characteristics of society play a crucial role in developing a systemic approach to accomplishing the state's national and societal goals. How are business and society responding to the current global processes? Which dimensions of social capital are most pertinent for researching and validating possible scenarios for the development of social processes? To what extent does stimulating government policy contribute to mitigating social tension and enhancing social guarantees for the population?

Andrey Bezrukov

Andrey Bezrukov currently serves as Professor at MGIMO - the preeminent Russian school of Foreign Service. He is also an Advisor to the CEO of “Rosneft” – the largest public oil company in terms of reserves and production.
Among his areas of focus are geopolitics, information security, future studies and international corporate strategy, with particular interest in USA and Eurasia.
Prior to working for “Rosneft” Andrey Bezrukov had a career with Russian government and international consulting companies. He has lived and worked in the USA, Canada and France.
Andrey holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, an MBA from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees in France, a degree in International Economics from Canada and a degree in History from Tomsk University.
Andrey Bezrukov is an author of books and articles on strategy, international relations and future studies. He is a Member of the Presidium of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy and an expert of the Valdai Club. He regularly appears on the most watched Russian news programs.

Fedor Voytolovsky

Feodor Voitolovsky is Acting Director for International Politics of IMEMO, the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of Russian Academy of Sciences. He earned an MA in history at the Department of History, Lomonosov Moscow State University and a PhD in political science and international relations at IMEMO. In 2013 he became a full professor degree in international relations at IMEMO and since 2016 he has been a Professor of Russian Academy of Science. He is a Visiting Professor at the Department of Political Science, MGIMO University (of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs); on the Editorial Board of the “World Economy and International Relations” journal; and an Editorial Board member of the “Global Development” annual series at IMEMO. His main field of research is international security; U.S. foreign and security policy; Russian-American relations; U.S.-China relations; U.S. policy in North-East Asia; Transatlantic relations; NATO; global political prognostics; global governance and international institutions. He has published a personal monograph and participated as an author and co-editor in 20 collective monographs, he is also an author of more than 60 articles and chapters in books including such as “Global System on the Brink: Pathways Toward a New Normal” (2016), “Global Perestroika: Transformations of the World Order” (2015), “Misbalances of Pacific Asia” (2015), “Political and Economic Misbalances in Trans-Pacific Area” (2014), “Russia in the Polycentric World” (2012), “Strategic Global Outlook – 2030” (2011) and others.

Zinchenko is Dean of the Faculty of Psychology at Moscow State University, Head of the Department of Psychology Methodology, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor, Vice President of the Russian Academy of Education, RAO Academician, Laureate of the RF Government Prize for Education, Honorary Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation, Gold Medal of the Russian Academy of Education, Honorary Professor at Fernando Pessoa University (Porto, Portugal).
He was born on December 23, 1966.

Y.P.
