Export Potential as a Driver for the Development of IT in Russia

16 Jun , 09:00–10:00
Building Technological Sovereignty
Congress Centre, zone B, 2nd floor, conference hall B4

In the short term, the lack of international competitors in the domestic market may serve as a stimulus for the development of Russian IT companies. However, for long-term success, Russian technologies require the opportunity to compete with international players and a broader implementation of the solutions being introduced, which can be achieved in foreign markets. A favourable export regime, alongside cooperation and collaboration with friendly countries, will ultimately facilitate the intensive development of Russian IT products and enable the implementation of complex infrastructure projects based on Russian software for the benefit of international customers. What steps need to be taken to grow the export potential of Russian IT solutions? What tools and initiatives can boost demand from international companies? Are customers from other countries prepared to buy Russian IT products? Which solutions are most pressing for them? What actions should Russian businesses take to achieve success in international markets?
