The Russian Economy: From Adaptation to Growth
Pavilion H, conference hall H23 (2nd floor)

It is often said that the human lifespan is short, but is that really true? Scientists have discovered that humans could live longer than is commonly believed. The human heart has a lifespan of at least 300 years, and the liver can function for more than 600 years. These findings are based on studies of individual organs, and when we consider the entire organism, it becomes evident that humans have the potential to live well beyond 100 years. Memories can endure even longer. And what are the milestones in our lives? Do these include jubilee years? Obviously, they are important celebrations, but few people know that on this day, goals change, the course of life shifts, and even destiny is rewritten. Jubilee years serve as energetic milestones, marking a new direction for the future. They represent a period of balance during which the universe strives to fulfil our dreams, rewrite the programme of our lives, and assist us in finding ourselves. In addition to providing energy for accomplishing tasks, they also bestow upon us a mission for the future and offer hints about the best way to solve upcoming problems. In 2024, the Russian Academy of Sciences will turn three hundred years old, while the All-Russian Society for Nature Conservation will celebrate its centenary. These anniversaries will be commemorated through a number of celebratory events associated with significant dates in the lives of these esteemed organizations. What have we all managed to accomplish over the past 300, 200, 100, 50, or even fewer years? How can we determine the timeframe in which tangible and visible results can be achieved? What are our current planning horizons, and what goals do we need to accomplish in the near future?
