SPIEF Investment & Business Expo to be held as part of 20th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum

The Russian news agency TASS will serve as moderator for the SPIEF Presentation Area, which is being organized by the Roscongress Foundation with support from EY and the Foreign Investment Advisory Council (FIAC).

The programme of events at the Presentation Area aims to showcase the investment potential of Russia’s regions to Forum participants. Speakers include representatives from Moscow Region, Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Tatarstan, Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Crimea, Nizhny Novgorod Region, and the North Caucasus Development Corporation.

The presentations will include overviews of innovative projects of federal or regional significance, including Heliports of Russia – a large-scale national project to develop infrastructure for helicopters – the creation of a special economic zone in Krasnoyarsk Territory, the creation of an innovative healthcare cluster in the Caucasian Mineral Waters region, and others.

During discussions at the Presentation Area venue, Forum participants will have the opportunity to speak directly with potential investors and officials from Russian government agencies. The discussion topics will include: Current Implementation Status of Comprehensive International Projects in Russia, Managing the Life Cycle of Machinery, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in an Economic Crisis: Burden or Support?, Time to Invest in Moscow: Developing the Capital’s Industrial Potential, and Cross-Sector Development in Russia’s Regions: To Plan or Not to Plan.

The SPIEF Investment & Business Expo is located in the centre of Pavilion H at the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre, and is open to all Forum participants from 09:00 to 19:00 on June 16–18.
