3rd Ladoga Gold cycling race included in SPIEF 2025 programme

The 3rd international multi-day Ladoga Gold cycling race will be held on 9–15 June as part of the Sports Games of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. For the first time, corporate and amateur teams will take part in the race together with professionals.

The route of the race in 2025 will pass through the cities of Leningrad Region and the Republic of Karelia, and the final stage will take place on the Rowing Canal of St. Petersburg.

“The Ladoga Gold cycling race has become a good example of international cooperation in sport. The interest in it from foreign teams confirms the potential of new Russian sports projects. The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum annually serves as a significant platform for their presentation. It is important that thanks to the cooperation of the Roscongress Foundation, the Russian Cycling Federation and with the support of the Russian Ministry of Sport, the cycling race is developing. This year’s Ladoga Gold will be not only a prestigious start for leading Russian cyclists, but also a unique opportunity for cycling fans to ride the same route as professionals,” noted Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of Russia and Executive Secretary of the SPIEF Organizing Committee.

The first two Ladoga Gold races were attended by riders from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, the UAE, and Syria.

The winner of the race in 2024 was Savva Novikov, who later won gold at the Russian Championship in the multi-day race.

The 28th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will be held on 18–21 June.
