Serbia and Russia are in constant dialogue, and this is set to continue

Serbia and Russia are in constant dialogue, and this is set to continue, not least during Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev’s anticipated visit to Serbia in 2017, said Ivica Dačić, Serbia’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, at a meeting of the Russian-Serbian Council for Bilateral Trade and Economic Cooperation.

“We are expecting a visit from the Russian Prime Minister Mr. Medvedev next year”, he announced.

Mr. Dačić also noted that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov was coming to Belgrade in December to attend both a bilateral meeting and a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.

In turn, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, who led the Russian delegation at the Council for Bilateral Trade and Economic Cooperation, invited the Serbian Government to attend the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which is being held from June 1–3, 2017.
