Russia–India Business Forum Programme Published
On 29–30 March, the Russia–India Business Forum will take place in New Delhi. The event will be held under the auspices of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2023.
The main theme of the Forum – ‘Strategic Partnership for Development and Growth’ – will bring together representatives of business, heads of federal ministries and agencies, development institutes and public organizations.
The business programme will open with a plenary session on ‘Technology Alliances in Greater Eurasia’. India and Russia could be partners who can break out of the digital monopoly belt and build technology solutions independent of the two competing blocs on the basis of mutual trust and partnership. During the session, experts will answer the questions of what Russia and India as technological powers can give to the rest of the world and in which areas their cooperation is most productive and in demand.
“The visiting session format is always very effective. During the event, participants exchange views on opportunities and prospects for economic cooperation, the specifics of legislative and executive government activities to ensure a favourable business climate and create the necessary legal conditions for businesses to operate,” said Director of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum Alexey Valkov.
The two-day business programme is divided into several tracks: ‘Healthcare’, ‘Information Technology’, ‘Trade and Economic Challenges’, each of which will address issues related to further expanding business ties between Russia and India in various fields.
The event is organized by the Roscongress Foundation, Moscow Department of External Economic and International Relations, Russian Export Center, Association for Export of Technological Sovereignty, RUSSOFT Non-profit Partnership of Software Developers, Global Innovation and Industry Council, Invest India National Coordination and Investment Promotion Agency, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry FICCI, and Business Council for Cooperation with India.
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will take place on 14–17 June 2023 at the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre.
