The Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion of the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will hold the opening ceremony for the Make in India Lounge in pavilion G at 08:00 on June 1, 2017
The opening ceremony will be attended by Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion Secretary Ramesh Abhishek, CII President Shobana Kamineni, Assistant Secretary of the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Atul Chaturvedi, and other high-ranking officials.
The Make in India Lounge will host negotiations between ministers and government officials as well as dialogues between investors, CEOs, and individuals responsible for developing policy and adopting strategic decisions. The discussions will be devoted India’s economic growth potential as well as strengthening ties with Russia.
Visitors will learn details about Indian states and see demonstrations of the first achievements of the Make in India programme in Hindi and Russian with an emphasis on the sectors that are of interest to the country’s Russian partners.
Guests will include SPIEF delegates from different countries, ministers, and other representatives of the Indian and Russian governments, representatives of Russian and Indian companies working in Russia as well as a delegation of CEOs of companies that are part of the CII and CEOs of Russian companies.
