ORGANIZING AND HOLDING PRESS EVENTS AT SPIEF 2021

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum press centre is a modern, interactive venue offering a comfortable working environment for the media. It is located in pavilion H of the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Rooms for press events

Media work area

Total area: 1,231 m²
Location: press centre (pavilion Н)
Function: venue for press events, main media work area
Capacity: 330 seats, 10-seat panel area, moderator’s podium
Equipment: conference system, wireless microphones, simultaneous interpretation equipment, projector, projection screens, prompter monitors for the panel area, speaker platform, lighting equipment.
Cost: RUB 479,000 (including VAT) per hour

Press hall H3

Total area: 205 m²
Location: press centre (pavilion Н)
Function: venue for press events
Capacity: 100 seats, 6-seat panel area
Equipment: conference system, wireless microphones, simultaneous interpretation equipment, 2 plasma screens, laptop for presentations, prompter monitor for the panel area, lighting equipment
Cost: RUB 368,000 (including VAT) per hour

The cost of reserving a room for press events includes:

• provision of the room’s special equipment for up to one hour;
• provision of the following organizing and hosting services:
  • preparation of the hall for the press event;
  • managing the hall during the event;
  • announcement of the event to accredited SPIEF media:
    • inclusion of the event in the press event plan;
    • distribution of announcements about press events at information stands in the press centre next to the Information and Service Centres and in the International Broadcast Centre;
    • SMS notifications for accredited SPIEF media;
    • announcement of the event via the public address system at the press centre;
  • simultaneous interpreting into Russian and English.

Applications to hire rooms for press events will be accepted until 29 May 2021.

Rooms for signing ceremonies

Signing ceremony hall H1 and signing ceremony hall H2

Location: press centre (pavilion Н)
Capacity: 70 seats, 8-seat panel area
Equipment: conference system, wireless microphones, simultaneous interpretation equipment, room for speakers, 2 plasma screens, 2 prompter monitors for the panel area, speaker platform, lighting equipment.
Cost: RUB 184,000 (including VAT) per hour

The cost of reserving a room for signing ceremonies includes:

• provision of a specially equipped room for up to one hour;
• provision of the following organizing and hosting services:
  • preparation of the hall for the signing ceremony;
  • managing the hall during the event;
  • announcement of the event to accredited SPIEF media:
    • inclusion of the event in the press event plan;
    • distribution of announcements about press events at information stands in the press centre next to the Information and Service Centres and in the International Broadcast Centre;
    • SMS notifications for accredited SPIEF media;
    • announcement of the event via the public address system at the press centre;
  • simultaneous interpreting into Russian and English.

Signing ceremony point

Signing ceremony point

Location: Passage opposite pavilion F
Total area: 24 m²
Capacity: four-person panel area
Equipment: PA system, 2 wireless microphones, lighting equipment.
Cost: RUB 139,000 for 15 minutes* (including VAT)

The cost of booking a signing ceremony point includes:

• exclusive access to a specially equipped signing ceremony point for up to 15 minutes*;
• protocol and administrative support for up to three signing ceremonies;
• providing organizational and administrative services:
  • setting up a signing ceremony point;
  • managing the signing ceremony point during the event;
  • announcement of the event to accredited media:
    • inclusion of the event in the press event plan;
    • distribution of announcements about press events at information stands in the press centre next to the Information and Service Centres and in the International Broadcast Centre;
    • SMS notifications for accredited SPIEF media;
    • announcement of the event via the public address system at the press centre.

Interview lounge

Interview lounge (pavilion H)

Area: 32 m²
Equipment: sofa, armchair, coffee table, 12 chairs, lighting equipment.
Cost: RUB 121,000 (including VAT) for 45 minutes

The cost of reserving an interview lounge includes:

• provision of a room with branded wall panels for up to 45 minutes;
• furniture: coffee tables and armchairs for the available number of places.

Applications to hire interview lounges will be accepted until 29 May 2021.

Press Points

Press points are designed for interaction between SPIEF official programme participants and the media.

Location

Press points are designed with SPIEF branding and equipped with a PA system and lighting equipment.

These are provided free of charge.

It will be possible to book the customary protocol and organizational support services for signing ceremonies and press conferences at any venue within the Forum press centre provided by the SPIEF Organizing Committee for press events (press conferences, briefings, signing ceremonies, interviews, and live media events).

Please ensure that you complete a separate application to request protocol and organizational support services.
