New Approaches and Effective Solutions for Sustainable Development
The world is halfway to achieving the global sustainable development goals (SDGs) set by the UN General Assembly.
Progress in achieving the global goals and mitigating economic turbulence is only possible by means of developing innovative solutions and building strong cooperation ties between the government and businesses, manufacturing industry and watchdogs, civil society and the investment community.
Lack of practice in adjusting innovative approaches to the new reality hinders quick response in order to solve problems related to the gap between practices and regulations, lack of tools to support innovations aimed at achieving the SDGs, insufficient adaptation of high-tech industries to green economy standards, and the need to build integration processes encouraging ESG innovations.
As a result of the session, a plan to address the said issues is expected to be drawn up in cooperation with stakeholders.
