Fabergé Museum
The world’s largest collection of Carl Fabergé and the House of Fabergé masterpieces in Shuvalov Palace of St. Petersburg.
The most famous items in the Fabergé Museum are the nine Easter Eggs created for Alexander III and Nicholas II, the last two Russian Tsars.

The Fabergé Museum collection includes Russian decorative-applied and fine arts, which today contains more than 4000 works. This collection demonstrates all mediums in which the House of Fabergé worked, including objects de fantaisie, jewellery, silverware and interior and cult objects.

The Art of Luxury 3.0
The Pillar Hall of the Palace houses the exhibition by Contemporary Heritage of Russia project for the third time. The project presents works by the best contemporary artists and masters of arts and crafts, awarded diplomas by Gokhran and by the country's leading museums. Splendid embroideries, various mosaics, delicate flowers of modeled porcelain, virtuoso painting of miniaturists on enamel, stone and papier-mâché, skillful work of jewelers and many other things are bound to surprise and amaze the attendees. The works have been exhibited at Gokhran, the museums of the Moscow Kremlin, the Diamond Fund of Russia, the State Historical Museum, the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, the Pavlovsk State Museum and other museums of the country

Parallel Universes. From Abstraction to Artefact. The Collection of Natalia Opaleva
The State Russian Museum presents the exhibition project entitled ‘Parallel Universes. From Abstraction to Artefact’ showing works by 36 artists of the second half of the 20th century from the collection of Natalia Opaleva, a well-known collector, founder and general director of the AZ Museum (Anatoly Zverev). Visitors of the Marble Palace will discover more than 200 paintings and graphic works by underground masters of the 1960s–1980s: Anatoly Zverev, Dmitri Plavinsky, Dmitry Krasnopevtsev, Oleg Tselkov, Lidia Masterkova, Ernst Neizvestny, Vladimir Yankilevsky, Erik Bulatov, Francisco Infante, Yury Zlotnikov, Grisha Bruskin, and many others.

The Terracotta Army. China’s Immortal Warriors
St. Petersburg’s Historical Park ‘Russia – My History’ (32, Basseynaya Ulitsa) opened a unique exhibition entitled ‘The Terracotta Army. China’s Immortal Warriors’.

Previously, the exhibition was a success at VDNH in Moscow, attended by more than 80,000 people.

The exhibition is based on a 20th-century archaeological sensation: the clay army of the Chinese Emperor Qin Shi Huang, who ruled in the 3rd century B.C. The Terracotta Army is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and can with good reason be considered the eighth wonder of the world.

Visitors will get to see life-size replicas of terracotta warriors and horses, chariots, weapons, everyday objects and colourful historical costumes – a total of over 150 exhibits.

Impressive special effects and video projections will immerse visitors in the mystical atmosphere of the distant past and give a real sense of the scale of the grand army.

The “Best Russian Craftsmen” exhibition
This year will mark the sixth time that the Elena Tsvetkova Jewellery House has hosted the “Contemporary Heritage of Russia” project’s showcase of works by Russia’s finest contemporary artists and craftsmen, winners of the Gokhran of Russia award, as well as prizes from leading Russian and foreign museums. The works have been exhibited at Gokhran of Russia, the Moscow Kremlin Museums, the Diamond Fund of Russia, the State Historical Museum, the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, the Pavlovsk State Museum, and other museums across the country.

Kamchatka. A Story in Foxes
This photo exhibition is dedicated to foxes, the protagonists of an eponymous documentary. Principal photography on the film was completed in autumn of 2022 in the Kronotsky Nature Reserve, one of the most remote places in Russia. Unique photographs depict the life story of a fox family: mating, struggle for survival in the cold season, birthing and upbringing of cubs. Dmytro and Anna Shpilenok, the authors of the film, spent three expeditions in the wild, lasting a total of 26 months, to film an inspiring story about foxes.
In addition, the exhibition features fascinating photographs that will introduce visitors to the diversity of the animal world and the unique nature of Kamchatka.
Kamchatka. A Story in Foxes is an unprecedented project to film the wildlife of Kamchatka Region, which rightly occupies a special place in the country's conservation system.

This is an outdoor exhibition.

Priory Palace
The Priory Palace, a unique earthwork structure built in 1798–1799 by the architect Nikolai Lvov for the Knights of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem (the Order of Malta). It is unique in its architectural design and technical implementation. The Priory Palace exhibition tells the story of the Order of Malta and its connection with the Russian Empire during the times of Emperor Paul I.

Gatchina Palace
Gatchina Palace is an imperial residence closely linked to the names of Paul I and Alexander III.
In this 18th-century palace, you can see the restored staterooms that date back to times of Paul I, including the upper throne room and the state bedchamber, take a walk down the romantic underground passage, and check out the famous Gatchina echo.

St. Petersburg Art Fair "1703"
St. Petersburg Art Fair 1703 is a large-scale cultural project aimed at supporting artists and galleries of contemporary art, as well as the institute of collecting. Hosted by Gazprom and supported by St. Petersburg Committee for Culture.

More than 35 contemporary art galleries will take part in the event, bringing both established and young artists. The Manege Exhibition Hall will become a center of contemporary art created in a variety of techniques — from painting and sculpture to installations and digital art.

Russian State Museum of the Arctic and Antarctic
The Museum of the Arctic and Antarctic is the only museum in Russia that tells about both polar regions.

The museum is located in the building of the former St. Nicholas Church of the Same Faith. The museum's exposition is presented in 3 sections: "The nature of the Arctic", "The history of exploration and development of the Northern Sea Route", "Antarctica".
Here you can see the personal funds of researchers, equipment of expeditions, unique instruments, models of ships, dioramas.

Manuscript Treasures of the East on the Banks of the Neva
The exhibition showcases magnificent Oriental manuscripts. The collection of Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Science is one of the largest in the world and the biggest in Russia, and comprises over 115,000 exhibits in 65 dead and living languages. The unique collection is housed in the sumptuous interiors of the Novo-Mikhailovsky Palace – a striking example of 19th-century palace architecture.

Sightseeing tours of the building and temporary exhibitions of the Russian Geographical Society
The building of the Society’s Headquarters in St. Petersburg will be 115 years old in 2023. Currently, there is the Scientific Archive, the Library and one of the largest cartographic collections in Europe. Unique manuscripts, ancient maps, editions from the personal libraries of famous travelers and members of the Russian Geographical Society are kept here: P.P. Semenov-Tyan-Shansky, Yu.M. Shokalsky, V.A. Obruchev and others. Among them there is a part of the personal library of the first chairman of the Society, Grand Duke Konstantin Nikolaevich.

Exhibition of photographs by the Italian photojournalist Giorgio Bianchi from the “Donbass Stories” cycle. Large spectators’ foyer at the Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama Theatre’s Main Stage
Exhibition of photographs by the famous Italian journalist and documentary filmmaker Giorgio Bianchi.

The exhibition entitled “If the theatre is open, then the city is alive” from the “Donbass Stories” cycle recounts the life of the Donetsk Musical Theatre over the past few years.

Giorgio Bianchi has visited Donbass many times and taken many photographs of the lives of ordinary people in this region. Bianchi has one of the largest online audiences in Italy.

As it is being held in a private foyer, the exhibition can only be attended by visitors to the Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama Theatre who have purchased a ticket to a performance.

Imaginary Journeys
What’s more impressive: rapid technological growth or deep cultural traditions going far back in time? The United Arab Emirates is an astonishing country, showing by example the speed of progress and innovation. Russia, on the other hand, is a country with centuries-old traditions. The culture and beauty of the two countries is different, but do they have anything in common?
SPIEF participants will have the opportunity to reflect on this at the Imaginary Journeys exhibition, held by the ROSPHOTO State Museum and Exhibition Centre and the DEFENCE law firm, with support of the Roscongress Foundation.

Exclusive reception and concert of great classical Russian music. St. Petersburg Academic Philharmonic named after D.D. Shestakovich. Small Hall (Nevsky Prospekt, 30)
The event was prepared by the Art Bridge Foundation in cooperation with the Russian Music Society as a part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The concert program will feature works by S.S. Prokofiev, P.I. Tchaikovsky and C.V. Rachmaninov performed by the Governor's Symphony Orchestra of St. Petersburg under the direction of the famous conductor Anton Lubchenko.

The concert will be attended by soloist of the Mariinsky Theater Roman Arndt (tenor), laureate of the International Jose Carreras Competition; soloist of the Elena Obraztsova Cultural Center, Olga Cheremnykh (soprano), soloist of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia Svetlana Kasyan (soprano), as well as laureate of International competitions - the famous pianist Zarina Shimanskaya.

Opera and Ballet Stars Gala
Mikhailovsky Theatre, 1, Arts Square
On 15 June, the Mikhailovsky Theatre will host a gala concert for Forum participants and guests featuring leading opera and ballet performers.

The guest soloists of the Mikhailovsky Theatre Svetlana Moskalenko and Dmitry Golovnin will perform pieces from Bizet’s Carmen, Verdi’s Don Carlos, Aida and Nabucco, Delibes’ Lakmé, and Tchaikovsky’s The Queen of Spades and Oprichnik.

Ballet stars from Moscow and St. Petersburg, including Ivan Vasilyev, Vladislav Lantratov, Maria Alexandrova, Angelina Vorontsova, Ernest Latypov, Anastasia Smirnova, Viktor Lebedev, and Anastasia Soboleva, will perform classical and contemporary choreography pieces.
The concert will also feature the Mikhailovsky Theatre Choir and Orchestra, conducted by Alexander Soloviev and Pavel Sorokin.

Evening of the Nizhny Novgorod Region in St. Petersburg
On 15 June, St. George’s Hall at the Mikhailovsky (Engineering) Castle will host a concert of works by Vivaldi and Handel performed by one of the youngest and most dynamically developing Russian ensembles – the La Voce Strumentale orchestra of Nizhny Novgorod’s Pushkin State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. Dmitry Sinkovsky will contribute threefold as producer, violinist and counter-tenor. Baroque virtuoso mezzo-soprano Yana Dyakova – the “Russian Bartoli” will delight the most demanding SPIEF music lovers with her art.
