Yuriy Zhulev

President, Russian Hemophilia Society

In 1985, graduated from the school number 856 (Moscow).
In 1991, graduated from the Moscow State Law University.
In 1989, he was elected Vice President of Hemophilia Association (later renamed Hemophilia Society) that was established the same year.
Since 1993, he was the President of the Hemophilia Society.
In 2000, at the founding congress of the Russian Hemophilia Society he was elected its President, and he still holds this position.
In 2002–2004, he was a board member of the European Hemophilia Consortium and member of the World Federation of Hemophilia. He was named ‘Best volunteer’ of the World Federation of Hemophilia for his active work in CIS countries.
At present, he also holds the following positions:
• Co-chairman of the Russian Union of Patients Public Societies;
• Member of Commission for the Disabled under President of the Russian Federation;
• Head of the working group for improvement of the state sociomedical assessment system and monitoring of implementation of decisions made for the Commission for the Disabled under President of the Russian Federation;
• Co-chair of the Council of public agencies for patients’ rights for the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation;
• Deputy Chairman of the Public Council of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation;
• Member of Council of public agencies for patients’ rights for Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare;
• Member of Moscow’s regional department of All-Russia People's Front.
Yury Zhulyov was awarded with an honorary certificate by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, an honorary certificate by the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare and Social Development.

Sergey Kutsev

Director, Research Centre for Medical Genetics; Chief External Expert in Medical Genetics of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation

In 1988, he graduated from the Medical Faculty of the Rostov Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical Institute (RODNMI). Upon graduation from the institute in 1988, he was left for postgraduate studies. In his main position from 1991 to 2000. - Assistant, from 2000 to 2006 - Associate Professor, and from 2006 to August 2011 - Head of the Laboratory of Medical Genetics at the Rostov State Medical University (RostSMU). From 2006, he was concurrently an associate professor and then professor of the course in genetics and laboratory genetics at the Faculty of Advanced Medical Education of the Rostov State Medical University.
After moving to Moscow in 2011 - as the head of the department at the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University. From 2012 to 2015 - Deputy Head of the Mutagenesis Laboratory (part-time) at the Medical Genetics Research Center of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. From 2012 to 2015 - Deputy Director for Scientific Work of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "Moscow Research Center". From May 20, 2015 - Acting Director and then Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Medical Genetics Research Center" (since 2019 - Federal State Budgetary Institution "Academician N.P. Bochkov Medical Genetics Research Center").
His scientific interests include clinic, diagnosis and treatment of inherited diseases, genetics of oncohematological diseases, the role of viruses in carcinogenesis, neonatal screening, and organization of medical genetic services. He is the author of more than 300 publications, 17 manuals and guidelines.

Alexander Shokhin

President, Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP)

Alexander N. Shokhin was born 25 December, 1951.
Graduated from the Moscow State University in 1974.
Doctor of Economics, Professor.
Twice, in 1991-1994 and in 1998, Mr. Shokhin held the post of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
In 1991-1994 he also held positions of Minister of Labor, Minister of Economics, Chairman of the Russian Agency for International Cooperation and Development.
From 1994 to 2002 – Deputy of the State Duma, with the posts of First Vice Chairman of the State Duma, leader of the Duma party bloc 'Our Home is Russia', Head of the Duma Committee on Credit Institutions and Capital Markets.
Since 1995 - President of the National Research University – Higher School of Economics.
From 2002 to 2006 – Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Investment Group "Renaissance Capital".
From 2005 to 2009 – member of the RF Public Chamber.
Since 2005 – President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. Mr. Shokhin is a member of several deliberative bodies under the Russian President and Government. He is also an independent director on the Boards of several companies, including ALROSA, Russian Railways, TMK and others.
