Mr Banerjee has been with the CII for over 27 years and has been the Director General, CII since May 2008. As Director General, he is responsible for overall operations of CII. Mr Banerjee is a Post-Graduate (MS) in Economics with specialisation on Economics of Planning and Econometrics from the University of Calcutta. Earlier, he did his Graduation from St. Xavier's College (Calcutta) in Economics (Hons). Mr Banerjee is in various advisory committees of the Government of India. He is the Co-chairman of the Governing Council, Overseas Indian Facilitation Centre (OIFC), a not for profit public private initiative of Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs (MOIA) and CII, established in 2007. He is a Member of the World Economic Forum’ s Global Agenda Council on India. Mr Banerjee is a Member of the Chief Minister’s Advisory Council, Madhya Pradesh and also a Member of the Board of Governors of Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ranchi. Mr Banerjee has been honored with the China-India Friendship Award by the Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao for his contributions towards the development of bilateral ties between India and China. Mr Banerjee is also the Secretariat for several bilateral CEOs Forums. These include Forums with Australia, France, Russia, Canada, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Japan, Pakistan, South Africa among others.

Johan Aurik is A.T. Kearney’s managing partner and chairman of the board, a position he assumedin January, 2013.Johan has been a partner with A.T. Kearney since 1997, and has more than 25 years of consulting experience with the firm in the consumer and retail, transportation, and chemicals industries.His areas of expertise include strategy and market effectiveness, organizational design, and complexity and supply chain management.Johan has taken on numerous leadership positions within A.T. Kearney. He has served as a member of the firm’s board of directors and the senior leadership team, led the firm’s consumer industries and retail practice for Europe, and headed A.T. Kearney’s operations in EMEA.Johan is a co-author of The Future of Strategy: A Transformative Approach to Strategy for a World that Won’t Stand Still (McGraw-Hill, 2015) and Rebuilding the Corporate Genome (John Wiley & Sons, 2002).Johan holds masters’ degrees in history from the University of Amsterdam and from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. A native of the Netherlands, he has lived and worked in numerous cities in both Europe and the United States. He is fluent in Dutch, English, French, and German.

Andrei Dubovskov has vast experience in telecommunications: having begun his career in 1993, he filled executive positions in Millicom International Cellular, LLC Regional Cellular Communication, CJSC 800 and a number of other companies in Moscow, Almaty, Nizhny Novgorod and other cities. From 2002 to 2004, he was CEO of the Tele2 Group in Nizhny Novgorod. In 2004, he came to MTS, taking up the post of Nizhny Novgorod Branch Director. In 2006-2007, he was Director of the macroregion MTS Ural and, in 2007, started working for CJSC UMS (MTS Ukraine) as Senior Deputy CEO. Since 2008, he has been at the helm of MTS Ukraine. Mr. Dubovskov is a Board Member of MTS, AFK Sistema and member of the Supervisory Board of MTS Ukraine. He is Chairman of the Management Board of MGTS and JSC Russian Telephone Company, Vice-Chairman of the Management Board of Mobile TeleSystems (MTS-Belarus). He is also a member of the Committee on Corporate Management under the Board of Directors of AFK Sistema and the Committee on Strategy under the Board of Directors of MTS. Andrei was born in 1966 and graduated in 1993 from the All-Russia S.A. Gerasimov State Institute of Cinematography as a Film Director.

Since joining P&G in 1986, Gary Coombe has been at the heart of the consumer goods industry, working on some of P&Gs most recognizable and successful brands including Pampers, Gillette and Ariel in the UK, Europe and the US. Gary joined P&G in a graduate sales job in the UK. He then moved into marketing where he held a number of senior positions, including Marketing Director and General Manager for P&G’s two biggest brands—Pampers and Gillette. Then moving to the US, Gary was responsible for Global Innovation & New Business Development on P&G’s Air Care business. Following roles leading P&G’s Global Air Care and Home Care businesses, Gary was appointed President of Europe in 2014 where he is now responsible for one-third of P&G’s global workforce and a quarter of total company sales and profit.

Mr. Shiv Khemka was educated at Eton College, received a B.A. from Brown University, an M.B.A. with distinction from The Wharton School and a Master’s in International Studies from The Lauder Institute, University of Pennsylvania. He was elected a “Global Leader for Tomorrow” (GLT) at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 1997 and was invited to join the Forum’s “Foreign Business Leaders’ Council” for Russia. He is a member of the WEF’s Global Agenda Council for Education. As one of the founders and partners, Shiv also sits on the Coordination Board of the Moscow School of Management “SKOLKOVO”. SUN Group is a leading principal investor and private equity fund manager in Russia, India and other emerging and transforming markets. The Group has been active in areas such as Mining, Oil & Gas, Real Estate, Food & Beverage, Infrastructure, HiTech and Renewable Energy. The founding shareholder of SUN is an Indian family group that has been active in India for more than 100 years and has been working in Russia since 1958. SUN is a member of the Russian Prime Minister’s Foreign Investment Advisory Council (FIAC).

Born in 1966, Mr. Guo holds a master’s degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Mr. Guo joined Huawei in 1988 and has served as an R&D project manager, General Manager of Supply Chain, Director of Huawei Executive Office, Chief Legal Officer, President of the Business Process & IT Management Department, President of the Corporate Development Department, Chairman and President of Huawei Device, Deputy Chairman of the Board, CEO, and Chairman of the Finance Committee.

Dr Andy Xie is Shanghai-based independent economist specialising in China and Asia. He is currently director of Rosetta Stone Advisors. He is also a guest columnist for the South China Morning Post and Century Weekly. Dr Xie is one of the few economists who has accurately predicted economic bubbles including the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis and the more recent subprime meltdown in the United States. He joined Morgan Stanley in 1997 and was Managing Director and Head of the firm’s Asia/Pacific economics team until 2006. Prior to that he spent two years with Macquarie Bank in Singapore, where he was an associate director in corporate finance. He also spent five years as an economist with the World Bank. Dr Xie earned a PhD in economics in 1990 and an MS in civil engineering in 1987 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
