A Healthy Lifestyle and the External Factors Affecting It

14 Jun , 13:00–14:15
Pavilion F, Healthy Life Area

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), health is defined as a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease and physical defects. Health is influenced by a complex combination of factors, with lifestyle, heredity, environment, and antigenic factors being the main contributors. Innovative technologies in modern preventive medicine now allow for a personalized approach to preserving health, taking into consideration an individual's genetic status, medical history, and lifestyle. How can negative factors be minimized to increase life expectancy and improve quality of life? Why should the significance of preventive medicine and genetic testing not be underestimated? What challenges do anti-ageing practitioners encounter? To what extent does satisfaction with one's appearance contribute to mental health stability? How crucial is it to prevent nutrition-dependent noncommunicable diseases through supplementation of nutritional deficiencies in specific population groups?
