St. Petersburg Academic Philharmonic named after D.D. Shestakovich. Small Hall

The event was prepared by the Art Bridge Foundation in cooperation with the Russian Music Society as a part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The concert program will feature works by S.S. Prokofiev, P.I. Tchaikovsky and C.V. Rachmaninov performed by the Governor's Symphony Orchestra of St. Petersburg under the direction of the famous conductor Anton Lubchenko.
The concert will be attended by soloist of the Mariinsky Theater Roman Arndt (tenor), laureate of the International Jose Carreras Competition; soloist of the Elena Obraztsova Cultural Center, Olga Cheremnykh (soprano), soloist of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia Svetlana Kasyan (soprano), as well as laureate of International competitions - the famous pianist Zarina Shimanskaya.

Opening of a new summer project of KGallery — “Samizdat. Music that didn't exist”
We will show what „rock and roll on the ribs“ is, what the first demo version of the “Gruppa Krovi” album looks like, unique envelopes of Tsoi’s letters, how a reel-to-reel tape recorder works, we will tell you who were the regulars of the cult Saigon cafe, what Soviet dudes, rockabills and hippies listened to - this will be the biggest musical underground project of this summer!
And in the best traditions of the Leningrad rock club, in our St. Petersburg courtyard, the charismatic band "Tales of Martha" will play for you!

Sails of Kronstadt Festival
The annual Sails of Kronstadt Festival will present a rich cultural and leisure programme that combines historical reconstruction, music and gastronomy in the Island of Forts cluster. This year, the Festival celebrates two important dates: the 320th anniversary of both St. Petersburg and the Baltic Fleet. The programme includes many stylistic and historical references to the aforementioned themes. The historical part of the Festival, represented by the Feast of Peter the Great project, will include numerous historical reconstructions and workshops that will introduce visitors to the history of the navy and the traditions of the Peter the Great era. Gastronomy will traditionally be the hallmark of the Festival: oyster menus, waffles, oriental dishes and sweets. The colourful Sails of Kronstadt will offer guests of all ages and interests creative, sporting and culinary master classes. From the early hours of the morning, a rich entertainment programme will light up the stage: it will cover a wide range of themes ranging from dance numbers of Peter the Great's assemblies to reenactment shows to a modern circus programme. The music section of the Festival will feature well-known international hits in creative arrangements by cover bands and electrifying DJ sets. The headliners of this year's Sails of Kronstadt will be hitmakers whose work is very familiar to the locals, the veterans of the Russian pop scene, the Diskoteka Avariya band.
