Peter Voser graduated in business administration from the University of Applied Sciences, Zürich, in 1982.
From August 1982 to March 2002 Peter was employed by the Royal Dutch/Shell Group of companies in a variety of Finance and Business roles. During this time he worked in Switzerland, the UK, Argentina and Chile.
From March 2002 until September 2004, Peter was CFO and a Member of the Group Executive Committee of the Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) Group of Companies, based in Switzerland.
Since 2004 Peter Voser served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Executive Director of Royal Dutch Shell.
Peter Voser was on the Board of Directors of UBS AG from April 2005 to April 2010.
In November 2006 he was appointed a member of the Swiss Federal Auditor Oversight Authority.
With effect from July 1, 2009, Peter Voser is Chief Executive Officer Royal Dutch Shell plc.
Peter, a Swiss citizen, was born in 1958. He is married to Daniela, and they have three children (two daughters and a son).
