Universa to launch promising digital economy projects in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug

At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum OOO Universa and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra Development Fund signed an agreement on technological partnership. The agreement, which was signed on the Territory of Innovations platform, is for launching promising projects in the region as part of the Digital Economy Programme.

The Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra Development Fund and OOO Universa signed an agreement on technological partnership on launching promising projects in the region as part of the Digital Economy programme. The project includes creation of a pilot area for deploying intelligent digital technologies and digital services, introducing digital technologies into the practice of government agencies, as well as Russian government authorities using domestic information and communications technologies to achieve the objectives and strategic goals determined by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 204 dated 7 May 2018 ‘On the national objectives and strategic goals of development of the Russian Federation up to 2024.’

Universa will provide its blockchain platform for investment project management. This will help establish full control over budget investment efficiency. Labelling of allocated funds with distributed register technology will protect public grants, grants raised and investments against misuse of funds. The platform will instantly track the actual costs and balances of a project, and automatically generate reporting, ensuring transparency of investment activities and making the region attractive to investors.

The Parties are also developing a multi-lingual communications platform that will unite into a single digital ecosystem all tourism market players, including suppliers of tourism products and services (regional, federal, importers), transport companies that deliver tourists/tourist groups, accommodation and catering facilities, tourist and cultural facilities in the region, small and medium-sized businesses that provide services in areas related to tourism, investors, business support funds, and tourists holidaying in the region.

The platform aims to design and promote hospitality and tourism routes and facilities in the region, monitor the activities of companies in the field of tourism and accumulate a data lake to identify bottlenecks and ways to boost tourist flows.

With the creation of a universal tourism user system, all local tourism resources can be shared by tourists.
