Roscongress Foundation forges new international partnerships

The number of bilateral cooperation agreements between the Roscongress Foundation and international partners were signed at SPIEF. Among the organizations involved were the Belarus National Agency of Investment and Privatization, the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce, Genova Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kazakh Invest, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire. 

Putting pen to paper were Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Roscongress Foundation Alexander Stuglev, Acting Director and Deputy Director of the Belarus National Agency of Investment and Privatization Denis Meleshkin, Chief Executive Officer of the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce Jaana Rekolainen, President of Genova Chamber of Commerce and Industry Luigi Attanasio, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Kazakh Invest Birzhan Kanashev, and Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Côte d,Ivoire Tiacoh Jean-Claude Allah Kouadio. 

The organizations have agreed to work together with the Roscongress Foundation to help broaden and strengthen ties between the expert community, the business sector, and various government bodies. They plan to exchange information, provide consultations, and offer venues for presentations and joint events. 

“In today’s globalized world, the work done by leading companies and development institutions needs to be consolidated. These partnerships, which will focus on a range of areas, have strong potential to develop into joint projects which will benefit the economies and lives of people in our countries,” said Stuglev.

The Forum also saw an agreement signed remotely with the Beijing-based Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization (GEIDCO). Putting pen to paper was GEIDCO Chairman Liu Zhenya. The organization promotes the UN’s Sustainable Energy for All initiative. It has also made the fight against climate change one of its key priorities.
