The future belongs to the economies capable of effectively and technologically transforming scientific and entrepreneurial ideas into industrial prototypes that then make it into markets. Nurturing and advancing promising viable ideas; shaping innovative, cutting-edge industries that can quickly translate an idea into an industrial prototype and scale it; developing market (consumer) infrastructure; and attracting talented individuals are all vital elements to the creation of a technological leap-friendly ecosystem. How can government investment in talented individuals have a large effect on major technological businesses and industries? Can corporate partnerships become the norm for relationships between business and education? How can we create conditions where new ideas, inventions, and projects can be brought to life in Russia with maximum impact?

Denis Kravchenko, born April 17, 1976 in Volgograd into a family of engineers.
1999: graduated from St Petersburg State Polytechnical University
2005: postgraduate degree in economics from the same university.
2002: joined government service with the central office of the State Duma, the lower house of the Russian parliament. Held a number of major administrative posts in the United Russia party's parliamentary faction; headed the public relations department of the State Duma's central office.
2002–2003: pro-bono adviser to Russian Interior Minister Boris Gryzlov.
2007: deputy head, State Committee for Youth Affairs, subsequently transformed into the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.
From 2011: government service at the regional level as a Deputy Governor of Pskov Region, supervised the regional representative office of the Russian government.
March 2014: Deputy General Director, United Rocket and Space Corporation (URSC).
February 2016: promoted to his current position of Senior Deputy General Director and State Secretary at the URSC.
September 2016: became a member of the 7th State Duma. Currently Vice-Chairman, State Duma committee for economic policy, industry, innovative development and entrepreneurship.
Class 2 Full Counsellor of State of the Russian Federation.
Card-carrying member of United Russia since 2003.
Since 2014: member of the Expert Council under the Russian government and of administrative bodies at several Russian defence enterprises.
Incumbent chairman of the Youth Council of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.
Holds a number of government and ministerial awards, including a presidential commendation (2007).
In 2016, the Russian dailies Vedomosti and Kommersant named Kravchenko among the top 50 best senior managers in Russia.
Married, with two children; lives in Moscow.

Hubertus Vaeth

During his 12-year tenure at Deutsche Bank, Hubertus Väth held the positions of Analyst, Head of Communications and Chief Economist for Asia and Global Head of Marketing for Wealth Management at offices in Frankfurt, Hamburg and Singapore. He is the Founder and CEO of the NewMark Group, established in 1997 and specialized in market research, business consulting and financial communication. In 2008, Väth was appointed Managing Director of Frankfurt Main Finance, the Financial Centre initiative for Frankfurt and the leading Financial Centre in Germany and the Euro Zone. Most recently, he was appointed to the Board of Directors of the World Alliance of International Financial Centers (WAIFC), which was created to facilitate cooperation and exchange of best practices among international financial centres and to foster greater exchange with international public authorities. Väth regularly speaks at international financial conferences on Brexit, FinTechs and Financial Centre Development; Euro Clearing and Green Finance. Väth is a Partner Fellow of the Financial Think Tank of AFCA and publishes regularly in this capacity. He is a member of Rotary Club and has a Diploma in Economics from the University Mainz, Germany. Väth is an occasional lecturer at Universities and Business Schools.

Begun career during his school years.
From 1991 worked as a children's coach at the school of Olympic reserve in judo.
From 1996 to 2007 held a senior positions in the holding company "Leninist", which develops and manufactures radar and pilot navigation systems for the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.
In 2005 joined the party "United Russia", entered the General Council of the party.
In 2007 was elected to the Pskov Regional Assembly of Dedovichsky and Dnovsky District, represented the interests of the Pskov Regional Assembly in the Supreme Chamber of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
Since February 27, 2009 the Governor of the Pskov region. One of the youngest heads of subjects of the Russian Federation.
Since childhood go for the sports - Master of Sports in judo, playing football, hockey. Enjoys fishing
