The 2014 Olympics in Sochi, the 2018 FIFA World Cup, and other major sporting events have been the strongest contributor to making sports popular in Russia. Sports have become fashionable. Society’s growing demand for sporting activities has led to the dynamic development of the Sports for All format in Russia as an integral part of the global sporting industry. The goal for the sporting industry in Russia is to increase the percentage of the population who systematically engage in physical training and sports up to 55% by 2024. What case studies can major corporations offer in this respect? How are new sporting formats becoming commercially viable? Can school sports become a successful franchise and how can brands become involved in children’s and amateur sports? What are the business models for new sports with a rapidly growing audience? How can grass-roots sports become a driver of production and tourism? And how can corporate sporting activities lead to a breakthrough in high-performance sports?

In August 2009, he was appointed to a position of the Head of Scientific Organizations Property Management. From December 2010 until March 2014 – a Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for State Property Management. Since March 28, 2014 – Director of Federal and Regional Programs of PJSC "MMC "Norilsk Nickel". Pursuant to the order of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation dated April 20, 2016 No. 732-р, Dmitry Vladimirovich Pristanskov was appointed to a position
of the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation – Head of the Federal Agency for State Property Management. According to the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, he was decorated with a second-class Medal of the Order of Merit for the Motherland.

He was born on March 20, 1964 in the village of Sayranovo, Ishimbay district, Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.
In 1989, he graduated from the Law Faculty of Bashkir State University, in 1994, he received a master’s degree at the University of Bilkent (Turkey).
He began his career in 1981 as a milling machine apprentice operator at the Ishimbay Transport Engineering Plant.

Emin Antonyan

Secretary General, Chairman of the Executive Board, Russian Esports Federation. PhD, MBA.
Emin Antonyan had worked in finance for nearly 15 years, holding leading positions in banks and consulting companies (Moscow Bank of Reconstruction and Development, SDM Bank, Uniastrum Bank, SOLEV International Consortium), and was a product developer for the international Western Union payment system.
Since 2010, he has headed the Moscow Basketball League (MBL). Under Emin’s leadership, many tournaments and events were organized including the Moscow City Championship, Star Matches, the Moscow SuperCup and others.
In 2016, Emin Antonyan joined the management of the Russian Esports Federation, bringing in his exclusive managerial and financial experience, as well as his expertise in organizing and developing sports events.

Ilya Galaev

President, All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Society Labour Reserves

Ilya Galayev was born in Moscow in 1989. He graduated from the Department of Global Economy and International Trade, Institute of International Economic Relations (IIER), with a concentration in International Trade. He completed his Master’s degree in International Management at the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade (VAVT), Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, in 2013.
He served as the Deputy Head of Department of Advertising and Exhibitions at Roselectronics from 2010–2011. From November 2011–May 2017, he worked at Uralvagonzavod. In 2016, he continued his professional activities in the nonprofit sector of the sports industry as the First Vice President of the Foundation for the Support and Development of Physical Culture and Sports (SPORT Foundation). In March 2018, he was a co-founder of the All-Russian Sports Society, Labour Reserves, and was elected its President. Currently, in the organization’s top post, he focuses on strategic planning and organizational development at the federal and regional levels, method development and implementation of corporate sports within Russian industry, research and integration of new technologies into company activity, and the development of new projects and innovative sports disciplines.

Svetlana Orlova

Auditor of Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation

Born October 23, 1954 in the town of Obluchye, Khabarovsk Territory.
In 1977 she graduated from Ussuriysk State Teacher Training College, followed by the Khabarovsk Higher Party School and professional development courses at the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation. She now holds a PhD in Economics.
From 1971–1991, she worked as a teacher at a boarding school in Vladivostok and was involved in party activities. From 1991–1993, she was Vice President, General Director of the Maritime Territory Women’s For-Profit Charity Organization ANNA. From 1993–1999, she was a deputy in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a member of the Women of Russia faction, a member of the Committee on Budget, Taxes, Banks and Finance. From 2000–2001, Orlova was Vice President of ZAO NPO Krosna.
In November 2001, she was elected to the Federation Council to represent the Council of People’s Deputies of the Kemerovo Region. From January 2004 to March 2013, she acted as Deputy Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
By presidential decree of the Russian Federation as of March 24, 2013, she was appointed Acting Governor of the Vladimir Region.
On September 8, 2013 elected Governor of the Vladimir Region.
She is a recipient of the Order For Services to Homeland of the fourth degree, Order of Honor, Order of Commonwealth, medal of the Order For Services to Homeland of second degree, a medal In Commemoration of 850 Years of Moscow, a medal In the Commemoration of 1000 Years of Kazan, the P.A. Stolypin medal of second degree, and a medal of the Federation Council, the 20 Years medal, 70 years of Vladimir Region commemorative medal, a Letter of Commendation from the President of the Russian Federation, a Letter of Commendation from the Government of the Russian Federation, awards of the Kemerovo Region, badge For Services to the Development of OAO Russian Railways of first degree, and a badge Railway Worker of Honor. She is Deputy Chairperson of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe and heads Russia’s delegation to the Congress.

Oleg Teplov

Chief Executive Officer, VEB Innovation

Oleg Teplov is the Chief Executive Officer of VEB Innovations, a subsidiary of Vnesheconombank (VEB) Group, a Russian economist, banker, and financier. He is one of the creators of the National Technology Initiative state program.

Oleg Teplov has been working in the finance industry and public sector for about 20 years, specializing in technological development of the Russian economy. Before joining VEB Innovations, Oleg held the position of referent at the Expert Directorate with the President of the Russian Federation, where he was involved in the development and implementation of the National Technology Initiative (NTI) and drafting the Digital Economy of Russia state program. As a referent at the directorate, he created the system of NTI governance and expansion and developed the National Ranking of Investment Climate in the Constituent Territories of the Russian Federation.

Oleg also leads the Strategic Planning Unit of the Economy and Finance Department at the Executive Office of the Government of Russia, as well as the Strategic Planning Department at the Ministry of Economic Development, where he coordinated the activities of the Strategic Initiatives Agency, Industrial Development Fund, Roseximbank, MSP Bank, and Russian Direct Investment Fund. He also held executive positions in major Russian banks and the global “Big Four” auditing firms.

At present, VEB Innovations under Oleg Teplov's management makes high-risk direct investments in technology-related projects, creates venture funds jointly with major Russian corporations and global partners, as well as fostering investment and technology cooperation with R&D centers, major businesses, and development institutions.

Special attention in his activities is paid to high-potential ICT (information and communication technology) and other projects for the space industry, vertical marketplace initiatives, as well as investments in artificial intelligence, robotics, online education services, and telemedicine. Pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and new energy-related technologies are prioritized as well.
