Dmitry Peskov was born in Voronezh in 1975. In 1998 graduated from Voronezh State University. In 1999 received an MA in political science from the University of Manchester. Since 2000 worked at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, was responsible for university development strategy. Left the university at the position of the Innovations Director, Deputy Vice-President on science. In 2008 created Metaver, a company that designs new education forms on the suture of education and venture economics. In 2009 became head of Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy. In 2011 became the Director on Young Professionals Direction at Agency for Strategic Initiatives. Member-Expert Council of Government of Russia. Member of the board of trustees of the agency on professional development WorldSkills Russia. Member of the council of Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs on development of young, innovative and small entrepreneurial activity. Head of the work group on Best Professional Practices Support at the Presidential Professional Qualifications Council. Member of the commission on 2020 Innovation Strategy implementation. He is on the Board of Directors at Aeroflot-Russian Airlines PJSC, RVK PSC, boards of trustees for Saint Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics and Support Foundation for Visually and Hearing Impaired. Holds various state awards, including the Order ”For Merit to the Fatherland”, 2nd Degree.

Simon was elected President of WorldSkills International at the organization’s General Assembly in October 2010 and took up his four-year post on 10th October 2011, the day after the Closing Ceremony at WorldSkills London 2011. Previously Simon had been Chief Executive of UK Skills and WorldSkills London 2011 as well as being the UK’s Official Delegate to both WorldSkills International and WorldSkills Europe (on both of which he was also a Board Member). Prior to his involvement in UK Skills Simon worked in the Building Services Sector as Chairman of his family business and he now works as an international skills consultant. Simon was educated at Durham University, from where he graduated with a BSc in Engineering Science and Management and an MSc in Management Science. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a Fellow of City and Guilds. A Member of the UK Governments Skills Commission and the Apprentice Ambassadors’ Network he is also on the Council of City & Guilds. Simon is a past Chair of the Confederation of British Industry’s Small and Medium Sized Enterprise Council.

Advisory board member of the Global Education Futures Forum (GEFF). After his studies at Sciences Po Paris, Olivier started his career at Radio France, before working for publishers of books, eBooks, and magazines, as well as for communication groups such as TBWA, thus developing a strong editorial expertise across a wide range of media. Since 2008, Olivier specializes in the design and management of global initiatives addressing the future of learning. As executive director of the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE), in charge of strategy and programs (2008-2012), he played a key role in the success of this initiative (www.wise-qatar.org). Olivier currently contributes to a range of international programmes, such as: • Global Education Futures (www.edu2035.org), a new forum currently being developed by Russian universities in close partnership with tier-one international stakeholders; • the Open Education Challenge (www.openeducationchallenge.eu), an incubator for edtech start-ups launched in 2014 with the support of the European Commission; • Kinnernet Europe (www.kinnernet-europe.com), a transdisciplinary unconference bringing together innovators from across Europe, as well as from Israel and the US. In July 2014, Olivier co-founded IRAÉ (www.irae.fr) to accompany public and private education stakeholders in the conception, implementation and evaluation of their innovation strategies, as well as to launch cutting-edge projects in collaboration with a broad range of leading education experts and organizations in France and across the world.

Mr. Shiv Khemka was educated at Eton College, received a B.A. from Brown University, an M.B.A. with distinction from The Wharton School and a Master’s in International Studies from The Lauder Institute, University of Pennsylvania. He was elected a “Global Leader for Tomorrow” (GLT) at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 1997 and was invited to join the Forum’s “Foreign Business Leaders’ Council” for Russia. He is a member of the WEF’s Global Agenda Council for Education. As one of the founders and partners, Shiv also sits on the Coordination Board of the Moscow School of Management “SKOLKOVO”. SUN Group is a leading principal investor and private equity fund manager in Russia, India and other emerging and transforming markets. The Group has been active in areas such as Mining, Oil & Gas, Real Estate, Food & Beverage, Infrastructure, HiTech and Renewable Energy. Alexey Rakhmanov was born on July 18, 1964. In 1986 he graduated from the Nizhny Novgorod Polytechnic Institute with a degree in mechanical engineering. In 2003 he graduated from the School of Business at the University of Chicago with a degree of Master of Business Administration. In the early stages of his career, he held various positions in the public and private entities. In 1996 he joined international auditing and consulting firm Ernst & Young where he worked until 2002. Between 2002 and 2008 he served as Director for Strategy and Business Development at JSC Severstal-Auto. In July 2008 he was appointed Director of the Department of Automotive Industry and Agricultural Machinery at Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade, and in March 2012 – Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade. Since June 2014 he has been President of the United Shipbuilding Corporation. Alexey Rakhmanov is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the St. Petersburg State Marine Technical University (SPbSMTU), Chairman of the Shipbuilding Industry and Marine Equipment Committee of the Russian Engineering Union, Member of the Russian Engineering Union Management Board.

Robert Swaak is Vice Chairman Clients and Markets, an appointment he took up on 1 July 2013. In this role he oversees PwC's global markets through regions and industries. He has been the Territory Senior Partner for the Dutch practice where he also served as the CFO/COO and the leader in The Netherlands. He was a member of the Firm’s Strategy Council as well as serving on the leadership team of the Central Cluster of PwC. Robert has 25 years of experience in PwC’s Assurance practice serving a wide variety of clients across all segments from large multinational companies to privately owned businesses as well as organizations in the public sector. He is also a trustee of the Van Leer Group Foundation. He is a qualified public accountant and has a masters in Corporate Economics from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.

Vladislav Boutenko joined BCG in 1999 and has since spent time at the company’s offices in Paris, San Francisco and Moscow. He has provided consulting services to the management of several Fortune 500 companies. Mr Boutenko is the co-director of the company’s Intellectual Property division and also oversees the Russian Education, Organisation and Human Capital practice. Before joining BCG, Vladislav worked at General Electric Healthcare (GE), where he was in charge of introducing digital technologies in medical diagnostics devices. At GE, Mr Boutenko became the first holder of the Six Sigma Black Belt in the R&D department and co-developed the Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodology for the effective innovation. He has registered ten inventions in the United States and Europe. In 2013, Mr Boutenko was elected First Vice President of the Russian Book Union (RBU) and Chairman of the Board of the RBU “Education” Chamber. Mr Boutenko graduated with honours from the Faculty of Optoelectronics of Moscow State Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation and also obtained a Master’s degree in mathematics from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications in Paris, where he was a French government scholar.

Sergey's focus is on dealing with CEOs and business owners, including shaping and development of entire executive management teams and complex transnational searches, he is also responsible for work with state and public institutions. In 1998, Sergey was listed in The Global 200 Executive Recruiters rating as one of the top 200 senior management recruiters in the world. He is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI), of the Russian Federation Presidential Council on the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights, of the Expert Council for the Russian Federation, and the Board of Trustees for the Russian Economic School Endowment Fund, he also serves as a Non-Executive Director on the boards of a number of leading Russian companies. Since 2002 he has been a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization and an honorary co-founder of its Russian branch. Sergey graduated from St. Petersburg State Technical University, Radio Physics Department in 1987 and Joint School of Business Administration (St. Petersburg engineering-economics institute and the French government agency, L'ACTIEM) in 1991. Throughout his entire career Sergey has been participating in Leadership development internships and Executive Education programs in both corporate and leading international business schools, incl. Harvard Business School, Eisenhower Fellowship, INSEAD, and London Business School

Born 4 September 1961 in the village of Orekhovka, Samara Region. Graduated from Togliatti Polytechnic Institute, correspondence postgraduate studies at the Trapeznikov Institute of Management Problems, RAS. 1984-1990: design engineer at the AvtoVAZ scientific and technical centre. 1992-2005: pro-rector, dean, head of scientific and organisational management department, Togliatti Management Academy. 2005-2012: pro-rector, director of the Institute of Educational Technology, Director of the Educational Policy Centre, Russian Academy of the National Economy and Civil Service under the President of the Russian Federation. Head and executor of over 50 design analysis works on the development of vocational education, public finances, and enterprise management. He is also an expert of the World Bank and author of over 60 publications. 2009: included on the List of Management personnel reserve under the auspices of the President of the Russian Federation. Director of the educational programme of the Presidential Academy: Training of the higher Management Personnel Reserve. Candidate of Sciences (Ph.D Tech. Sc.) specialising in Management in social and economic systems. Married with a son and a daughter.

PhD in Economics. Held senior positions in the automobile company Sollers and Severstal Group; was a member of the Board of Directors at Zavolzhsky Engine Plant. Worked in the sphere of professional services for such international companies as Accenture, Alvarez & Marsal, Arcadis Euroconsult; was engaged in investment strategy in the international private investment fund and conducted his own business (Consulting and HR). Since 2008 Pavel has been working on the development of the education system, since 2010 has managed foresight education project including foresight of higher education and the global report on the future of education. Pavel is a project manager and one of the co-authors of «Atlas of new professions». Since 2012 has managed technological skill foresight project. Since 2013 within the framework of cooperation between Russia and International Labour Organisation Pavel has managed the development of an international method of the technological skills foresight for its implementation in developing countries.

A graduate of the Speransky School of Law of the Academy of National Economy under the President of the Russian Federation with a degree in political law, Alexander has an MBA in international business development and venture capital from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. He is an expert in online education technology and a member of the Expert Council of the Government of the Russian Federation on the Promotion of Russian Language and Russian Language–Based Education. He has a successful track record of implementing web-based projects both in Russia and in Western markets. He was the driving force behind and co-founder of Grammarly.com, a service checking texts for grammatical correctness and authenticity, MyDropBox.Com, a plagiarism recognition system, and a number of other online startups. Since 2010 UNIWEB, led by Alexander, has been working with Russia’s leading universities to adapt their curricula for distance learning on the uniweb.ru platform.

Dmitry Repin is a CEO of New Professions Lab (newprolab.com), a technology education startup focused on professional education for new and emerging technology professions. Dmitry Repin is also in charge of Digital October (digitaloctober.com), a center for new technology and technology entrepreneurship in Moscow, Russia since its inception in 2010. Dmitry has a BS in physics from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute and a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from Boston University. He also worked as a Senior Researcher at MIT Sloan School. Currently, Dr. Repin is also an invited Professor of Entrepreneurship at the New Economic School and a Board Member at several private technology companies. Dmitry Repin is a licensed sailing captain with over 7000 nautical miles sailed in the past 7 years. In 2007, he created eXtrepreneurship, a unique program, where he teaches entrepreneurship aboard a sailboat. In 2012, Dmitry has received Global Business Leader of the Year award from Horasis Forum in Luxembourg.
